Lumsden Florist etc. is a love child of Rachel Devers and Sean Brimacombe.

Rachel’s Background

Rachel grew up in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan with a thirst for life. Rachel has traveled the globe and has witnessed many wonders and awesome things, which she loves to talk about if you ask her. She has also worked in remote hunting camps in northern BC, guided horseback adventures, baked for tree planters, “picked chickens,” fixed tires, built log cabins, and was a high-flying travel agent (to name a few).

Rachel also worked for florists in Regina, where she discovered a love of flowers which allowed her to put her artistic nature towards designing arrangements. Now you can enjoy beautiful and creative arrangements by Rachel!

Sean’s Background

Sean Brimacombe is originally from Yorkton. Sean is a locally known athlete, as he played D-Line for the Regina Rams for five years. Previously he played five years with the Saskatoon Hilltops. What made him switch nemesis cities, you ask? Answer: The World Master of Marzipan, with whom Sean became close while studying food and nutrition management.

Sean now works as a Youth Care Leader for the Ranch Ehrlo Society.

Rachel and Sean met while Rachel was planning to tile her mother’s house and enlisted help from a friend-of-a-friend - Sean. After that, it was all daisies and blue skies for the two. They traveled together to various sunny destinations, including the Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Cuba and finally, on a 3 month ‘’round-the-world’ adventure.

Once they returned, they settled in the quaint small town of Lumsden, Saskatchewan with their three dogs. It wasn’t long before the couple noticed a lack of floral services in the area. After a lot of research, it was decided to supply Lumsden and area with flowers, wine kits, premium bath and body products within the Lumsden Plaza.
